Natalie
Wood’s death is still listed as an accident. The Los Angeles County
Sheriff’s Department says no new evidence has been uncovered to change
that. Several weeks of interviews and other investigative work have not
uncovered any evidence that Wood may have been murdered. The chief of
detectives points out cold cases like Wood’s are never really closed and
detectives are looking at some aspects of the case. Natalie Wood died
November 28, 1981. She was boating off Catalina Island with her husband
Robert Wagner and Christopher Walken. The investigation was reopened
this past November, when detectives say several sources came forward
with new information.
