is joining forces with Ryan Seacrest Productions on a new reality
series starring TV personality Melissa Rycroft and her husband Tye
Strickland. The eight-episode series, which has the working title
“Melissa and Tye: A New Reality,” will premiere in April. Rycroft has
appeared on “Dancing With the Stars” and “The Bachelor,” as well as
CMT’s “Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders: Making the Team.” Now married with an
11-month-old daughter, Rycroft is moving from Texas to Los Angeles to
pursue her Hollywood dreams. “Melissa and Tye: A New Reality” will
follow the couple as they “navigate the trials and tribulations of being
new parents, making a long-distance relationship work, and making their
dreams become a reality,” CMT said.
