has canceled the controversial cross-dressing comedy series “Work It”
after just two episodes. The series, which made its debut on January 3rd
to low ratings, centered on two unemployed men who pose as women when
they learn that a pharmaceuticals company is hiring only female sales
reps. The show was snubbed from the get-go by reviewers offended by the
show’s slant and attempt at comedy. It was also blasted by the gay
community for the message it allegedly communicated.
