Judge Marsha Revel has voluntarily asked to be released from overseeing Lindsay Lohan’s case. Lohan left jail this month after serving 13 full days of a 90-day sentence imposed by Revel for violating her probation. She immediately entered a drug treatment facility after leaving jail. Revel requested to step down from the case after prosecutor Danette Meyers accused her of improperly contacting medical experts and rehab facilities without notifying the lawyers involved. Revel apparently made the move before Meyers could file papers to force her off the case. Revel has been replaced by Judge Elden Fox.
