Gleason Auction
The Miami-area home of the late Jackie Gleason went on the block yesterday. Auction Company of America said it would accept the highest bid for Gleason’s old Hialeah residence regardless of what it was. The five-bedroom ranch covers 9,000 square feet and was his home from the 1960s until his death in 1987. It was last owned by a couple who placed it in a trust. The house is one part of an auction of Gleason memorabilia taking place. Other lots include artwork, exercise equipment and a bus driver uniform Gleason wore when he starred in the classic series “The Honeymooners.”
