Salahi plans on selling millions of dollars worth of his belongings,
including his wedding ring, artwork, and over 50 bathrobes that he
claims his wife Michaele Salahi stole from hotels. The auction will
commence this Saturday on the website 9021go.com.
Tareq hopes selling the items “will help bring closure to this
ridiculous situation I am in.” Talking about his wife’s sticky fingers,
Tareq said, “As soon as we arrived [at the hotels], Michaele would call
housekeeping and demand a bath gown saying that there was one missing.
So when we checked out we would not be charged for taking it. Looking
back I now realize this is indicative of our relationship together, full
of deceit, lies ... and bathrobes.” All the proceeds will go to
charity.
