Eddie
Cibrian is defending his NBC show, “The Playboy Club,” against those
who think it’s too sexy for TV or exploits women. He believes the
controversy stems from people who haven’t seen the show at all and it is
more about “their preconceived ideas for the Playboy brand.” Cibrian
says, “There are things on TV that exploit women and just exploit people
in general that are a lot worse” than his show, like, for instance,
reality shows. Meanwhile, if “The Playboy Club” stays on the air long
enough, there’s a chance Cibrian’s wife will be on it. LeAnn Rimes may
end up playing a singer from the early 1960s. Cibrian doesn’t know what
real 60s star she might mimic, but he says “there’s been talk.”
