Sig Hansen and brothers Johnathan and Andy Hillstrand are leaving the hit reality series “Deadliest Catch” after being sued for breach-of-contract by the Discovery Channel. The network is suing the two brothers for $3 million for failing to complete work for a spin-off show called “Hillstranded.” “We have been through a lot over the past year and unfortunately, given the current situation with Discovery, we are unable to continue participating in ‘Deadliest Catch,’” the three crab fishermen said in a statement. Production on season seven of “Deadliest Catch” is scheduled to start early next month, the beginning of crab season. The show’s sixth season was rocked by the death of Captain Phil Harris.
