Roger
Ebert has announced that his film review program “Ebert Presents: At
the Movies” will go on hiatus starting at the end of the year. The show
launched on January 21st, but now the renowned critic says it will come
to end if they don’t get a major cash infusion. Ebert and his wife and
co-producer Chaz have already funded the show to the tune of $25,000 but
in his Chicago Sun-Times blog, Ebert says the hiatus is a last resort.
