Roseanne Barr Joins The Race For U.S. President
Roseanne Barr has filed the necessary paperwork to run for president of the United States this year as a Green Party candidate, she confirmed yesterday. Bar tweeted, “If ppl will merely do as I tell them to do just this one time, I promise everything will get a lot better quickly4 the majority. #nutn2lose.” Scott McLarty, national coordinator for the Green Party, said, “Our standpoint is that Roseanne is running for the nomination, and we are impartial to all our candidates officially.” The Green Party will pick its 2012 presidential candidate at a convention in Baltimore in July.
