MTV Sued By ‘Smelly Old Man’

A man referred to as a “smelly old man” on MTV’s “Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory” is suing the network over skateboarder Rob Dyrdek’s comments. The man was mocked as Dyrdek and crew members were trying to find out the source of a nasty odor. The man says he never gave permission for MTV to use his image on TV and claims that since the episode aired “friends and relatives began teasing or mocking [him], buying him air freshener.” He’s also upset Dyrdek and his buddies mocked the way he walks, claiming he suffers from “spinal stenosis.” He’s suing for $25,000.
