A
man accused of stalking Halle Berry will go on trial in December.
Richard Franco, who was arrested on July 11th after her private security
caught him trespassing on her home in the Hollywood Hills, entered a
not guilty plea yesterday. The judge ordered him to return to court for a
pre-trial hearing on November 28th ahead of a full trial which will
start on December 20th. James was caught on the property three times in
three days, and on one occasion broke into her guest house. He was also
caught spying on Halle through a kitchen door, which caused her to call
police. She subsequently gained a restraining order against him,
stopping him from coming within 500 yards of her home and family,
including three-year-old daughter Nahla.
