The Los Angeles County coroner’s office is looking into whether heat had a role in the death of film editor Sally Menke, whose body was found early yesterday at the bottom of a ravine by searchers in Beachwood Canyon. Her Labrador retriever was found alive and sitting beside her. Friends had contacted authorities when Menke failed to return home Monday after a hiking trip. Menke, 56, worked on the Quentin Tarantino movies “Pulp Fiction,” “Kill Bill” and “Jackie Brown.”
