Leighton Meester, Mom Sue Each Other

“Gossip Girl” star Leighton Meester has filed a lawsuit against her mother, claiming that she took money the actress had sent to her brother and used it for Botox, plastic surgery and hair extensions. According to the suit, Meester sends $7,500 a month to her mother, Constance Meester, to care for her younger brother, Lex, who has severe medical issues. The suit claims that Constance took the money for cosmetic procedures and other personal expenses. The lawsuit also alleges that Constance threatened her daughter with a $3 million lawsuit unless she started sending $10,000 a month, because her mother claims they had an oral contract requiring Leighton to do so. Tiger Woods’ former mistress, Rachel Uchitel has reportedly given the golf pro back a good chunk of the money he paid her to keep quiet about the details of their affair. She handed the money over because of her appearance on the VH1 show “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.” Although she never mentioned Woods’ name in the show, TMZ says Uchitel’s lawyer, Gloria Allred, advised her that she would lose if Woods decided to sue her for breaking the confidentiality clause of the contract. While Rachel had to return her portion of the hush money, Allred allegedly worked out a deal with Woods’ lawyer allowing her to keep her fees. Uchitel is unhappy with the advice she received from Allred and has hired a malpractice attorney to recoup her losses, TMZ said.

Randy Quaid’s Extradition To Santa Barbara Denied

A request by the Santa Barbara County, California, district attorney’s office to extradite Randy Quaid and his wife from Canada has been denied. The DA’s office wants them to face charges of felony vandalism. Randy and Evi Quaid are accused of causing more than $5,000 damage to the guest house of a home they once owned. The Quaids were arrested in Vancouver last October and jailed under the Canadian Immigration Act. They applied for refugee status, saying they were seeking asylum from so-called “star whackers” targeting Hollywood celebrities.
