Mel Gibson is donating sets from the movie he’s currently working on to a future Mexican museum, according to the governor the Mexican Gulf coast state of Veracruz. Governor Fidel Herrera says several sets were built inside the Ignacio Allende prison in Veracruz and that the jail will be converted into a museum once Gibson is done filming. In January, 1,500 inmates were transferred out of the prison to make room for Gibson’s film, tentatively titled “How I Spent My Summer Vacation.” Gibson filmed his 2006 movie “Apocalypto” in Veracruz.
