Danny DeVito will finally get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this Thursday. DeVito’s star will be placed at 6906 Hollywood Blvd. After working as a cosmetologist and appearing in small, low-budget films for 5 years, the New Jersey native was seen by millions as the character Martini in 1975’s “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest.” However, it wasn’t until 1978 that the 5 ft. actor was able to land more than small parts when he became an overnight sensation as the nasty cab boss “Louie DePalma” in ABC’s “Taxi.” DiVito’s latest series, “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” starts its seventh season on September 15th.
