The 21-year-old law student lost her place in the competition Saturday after pageant officials learned she taped commercials for Ashley Madison, a website for people seeking to have affairs. Although the ads never ran in Canada – because they were rejected by the government’s advertising review committee for not meeting community standards – they did air in the United States. Someone brought them to the attention of pageant officials.
