Jesse James In Rehab?

Jesse James has reportedly entered rehab in Arizona. A member of the medical team at Sierra Tucson Rehab Center tells TMZ that James is a patient there. Sierra Tucson specializes in drug, alcohol and sex addiction. A California Highway Patrol officer stopped Jesse last Friday on the 10 Freeway near Blythe, California, for driving without a front license plate and driving with windows that were tinted too dark. James reportedly told the officer he was going to Arizona to try to save his marriage to Sandra Bullock.

Sandra Bullock Not Adopting Jesse James’ Daughter

Despite Sandra Bullock’s close relationship with Jesse James’ daughter, the actress is not planning to become her legal parent. “There are no plans, nor have there ever been any plans, for Sandra Bullock to adopt any of Jesse James’s children,” her rep says. James was granted full custody of six-year-old Sunny in December after her mother, porn star Janine Lindemulder, was jailed for tax evasion. Bullock, who stood by James during the custody battle, successfully argued that Sunny would be in danger if left with her mom.

Russell Crowe To Get Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Coinciding with his latest movie being shown at the Cannes Film Festival, Russell Crowe will finally get his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Crowe’s “Robin Hood” will open the festival on May 12th. The actor’s star ceremony is set for April 12th. Ron Howard will speak. He directed Crowe in “A Beautiful Mind” and “Cinderella Man.” Jay Leno also is one of the speakers.

Jim Belushi’s Bad Flight Wake Up

Jim Belushi got a real awakening this week during an American Airlines flight to Las Vegas. According to TMZ, when a flight attendant tried to wake Belushi up during the plane’s descent, the actor started a verbal argument. Apparently, Belushi made a scene, forcing the captain to call the tower and request police presence at the gate. Police said no crime occurred and let Belushi go. Belushi’s rep told TMZ, “American Airlines could not have handled the situation better to ensure his safety. Next time he wants to take a 40-minute nap, he’ll be booking American Airlines.”

Owen Wilson Sued Over Alleged Paparazzo Assault

A paparazzo is suing Owen and Andrew Wilson over an alleged assault that occurred in Santa Monica in December 2008. In a lawsuit filed last week, Clint Brewer claims he was “walking up the stairs and was pushed in the back” by Owen. According to court documents, a fight ensued and the snapper “sustained severe bodily injuries, a portion of which are permanent.” The photographer is seeking damages of $500,000 and medical expenses totaling $3,251.10.

Judge Finds Accused Garner/Affleck Stalker Insane

A judge is sending a man arrested outside a school attended by Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s daughter to a state mental hospital. Steven Burky pleaded no contest yesterday to two counts of stalking the couple and their children. A judge found the 37-year-old not guilty by reason of insanity after a hearing. Burky was ordered to stay away from Garner, Affleck and their family for 10 years if he is released. Burky was arrested in December outside a school attended by one of their children, a violation of a civil restraining order Garner obtained in 2008.

Kelsey Grammer Settles Lawsuit For 10 Bucks

Kelsey Grammer has ended a lawsuit over the 2008 flop “Swing Vote” by paying a $10 settlement to a man who alleged the film was similar to a plot he wrote years earlier. Grammer was named as a defendant in a suit filed by Bradley Blakeman in August 2008, but was the last party left fighting the case after a judge dismissed claims against co-star Kevin Costner and Disney executives who owned the rights. Blakeman claimed he had given a copy of his script “Go November” to Grammer in 2006 and was shocked to see the actor starring in the “extraordinarily similar” “Swing Vote” two years later. The case was going so bad that Blakeman accepted $10 from Kelsey about a week ago.

Superman Comic Smashes $1 Million Record

A rare copy of the first comic book to feature Superman has set a new record after selling at auction for $1.5 million. The 1938 edition of Action Comics No. 1 was snapped up by a private collector via the auction Web site ComicConnect.com on Monday. The record price for a comic book has already been broken twice this year; another copy of Action Comics No. 1 sold in February for $1 million and within days a 1939 Batman comic featuring the first appearance of the Caped Crusader was purchased by a private buyer for the same price. The latest record-breaking comic featuring Superman’s debut originally sold for a dime.

Kids Don’t Like Celeb Chef’s Healthy Lunches

Kids at the West Virginia school featured in ABC’s “Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution” liked their standard pizza and chicken nuggets more than the celebrity chef’s fresh, healthy menu items. And when denied the food they were used to, many stopped buying school lunches. A survey at Central City Elementary in Huntington also found children drank less milk after Oliver removed the sugary chocolate and strawberry bottles. But there is a bright spot in the data from the West Virginia University Health Research Center – more than six in 10 kids said they’d learned to try new foods. ABC chose to have the show in Huntington after a 2008 Associated Press story dubbed the area the nation’s unhealthiest.

Kate Gosselin’s ‘Dancing’ Drama

Sources backstage at “Dancing With the Stars” say the sparring between Kate Gosselin and partner Tony Dovolani seen on Monday night’s show is just the tip of the iceberg, and that things escalated so quickly that Kate insisted Tony get the boot from the show! However, it seems it’s not Tony who’s the problem. “Everyone involved in the show thinks Kate is impossible. We all feel very sorry that poor Tony got paired up with her. She talks to him as if he is her ninth child,” sources tell Popeater. “At one point things got so bad that Kate demanded that the show’s producers fire Tony and get her a new partner. However, everyone would rather get rid of her than Tony, who is loved by all the staff,” the source said.

Shocking Elimination On ‘Dancing With The Stars’

The lowest scores from the judges meant nothing on “Dancing with the Stars” last night. Even though Buzz Aldrin and Kate Gosselin had the lowest scores, by far, it was Shannen Doherty and partner Mark Ballas who become the first couple voted off. If Shannen and Mark were not eliminated, Mark would have had to take six weeks off due to an injury to his knee sustained during rehearsals. The couple was not even able to do their last dance. Pamela Anderson was the other celebrity in the bottom two. The celebrities left in the competition are Buzz Aldrin, Pamela Anderson, Jake Pavelka, Kate Gosselin, Chad Ochocinco, Aiden Turner, Niecy Nash, Nicole Scherzinger, Evan Lysacek and Erin Andrews.

Last Night On ‘American Idol’

Andrew Garcia and Lee Dewyze have redeemed themselves and are once again in the good graces of “American Idol” judges. After several bombs, Garcia finally wowed the panel with a stripped down version of Chris Brown’s “Forever.” Dewyze bounced back with the Cornelius Brothers’ “Treat Her Like A Lady.” Unless the judge’s decide to save a singer, another finalist will be eliminated tonight based on viewer votes, leaving nine singers in the competition.

Jesse James’ Other Other Woman

A heavily-inked stripper named Melissa Smith tells Star magazine that she had a two-year affair with Jessie James just a year after he married Sandra Bullock. James reportedly contacted Smith via MySpace in 2006 after seeing photos of her at a West Coast Choppers event. He then invited her to his California office. The meet-n-greet turned into a romp, according to Smith. Star says the rendezvous was “just the first of many,” reporting that James and Smith met every two months. Meanwhile, TMZ is reporting that a former high-level female executive with West Coast Choppers settled a sexual harassment lawsuit against James and West Coast Choppers for more than $700,000 in 2007, while he was married to Bullock. The woman quit and hired Gloria Allred’s law firm to represent her. No lawsuit was ever filed, but the matter was settled for $725,000 in September 2007. In the settlement, Jesse neither admitted nor denied the allegations.

Copperfield Civil Trial To Go Ahead

A federal judge has lifted a stay that has held up a lawsuit a Washington State model filed against David Copperfield. Lacey Carroll, 23, is suing the magician for allegedly sexually assaulting her on his private Caribbean island in 2007. A criminal investigation into Carroll’s allegations ended this year with no charges filed. The judge set a May 2011 trial date for the civil lawsuit. A stay had prevented the trial from going forward until the criminal investigation was completed. Copperfield has denied Carroll’s allegations. Carroll was arrested in January in a separate case and has pleaded not guilty to charges of prostitution and lying to police.

PETA Makes ‘Octomom’ Ad Offer

PETA says it wants to help “Octomom” Nadya Suleman with finances by placing an ad on her front lawn. A spokeswoman for the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals said the organization sent a letter to Suleman’s lawyer offering to pay for an ad to be placed in front of her La Habra, California, home as a means of helping her avoid foreclosure on the house. Suleman’s lawyer, Jeff Czech, said he has been in contact with PETA’s legal department and is awaiting an offer. Suleman’s dad – who holds the title to the house – was required to make a $450,000 balloon payment on March 10th, but didn't do it. He is also behind $4,139 for March. He is reportedly working out a deal with the man that sold him the house.

‘Two And A Half Men’ Episodes Canceled

Producers of Charlie Sheen’s “Two and a Half Men” show have reportedly axed two of the upcoming season’s final four episodes to accommodate the actor’s recent visit to rehab. Shooting on the CBS comedy was halted last month after Sheen, who has a history of substance problems, was admitted into a recovery facility as a “preventative measure.” The delay has now led CBS to cut the planned total of 24 episodes for the seventh season down to 22, according to TMZ. Sheen’s admission into a treatment clinic came in the wake of his Christmas Day arrest in Aspen, Colorado, following a violent altercation with wife Brooke Mueller.

Doctors Subpoenaed For Corey Haim’s Prescriptions

Approximately 20 doctors in Southern California reportedly received subpoenas Tuesday in connection with Corey Haim’s death investigation. The names of the doctors appear on various prescriptions written for the late actor. Officials tell TMZ seven of the doctors say they never saw Haim or prescribed medications for him. Investigators believe the prescriptions for the seven docs may be linked to the fraudulent prescription ring currently under investigation by the state attorney general. More doctors will be subpoenaed by the end of the week.

Katherine Heigl Confirms ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Exit

Katherine Heigl has confirmed she’s quit her role on “Grey’s Anatomy” in order to spend more time with her adopted daughter. The actress has been dogged by rumors of a departure from the show ever since she landed her breakthrough movie role in 2007’s “Knocked Up” and went on to forge a promising film career on the big screen. Now, after a three-month break from the series, Heigl has announced she won’t be returning. She said she plans on spending her free time raising her daughter, Naleigh, with husband Josh Kelley. The couple adopted the little girl from South Korea last year. Heigl last appeared on “Grey’s Anatomy” in January.

Puck From ‘Real World’ Badly Injured In Car Wreck

Puck, the villain from Season Three of “The Real World,” has been hospitalized with serious injuries after losing control of his car while on a fishing trip with his son. The former bike messenger – real name David Rainey – was driving along Route 79 in California when he rolled down an embankment, flipped over and landed upside down in a creek. He was trapped, but his 8-year-old son was able to free himself and run for help. Puck blames the accident on a deer in the road, but cops say he was driving drunk. Authorities plan to arrest him for DUI and driving without a license when he gets out of the hospital. Puck will also be booked for child endangerment because his son was seriously injured. Puck has broken bones in both feet as well as a broken neck, sternum and clavicle.

He was found by a jogger who called 911 shortly after 11 a.m.

‘American Idol’ – And Then There Were 10

“American Idol” narrowed its singers to the Top 10 last night with the elimination of Paige Miles, who stumbled on her rendition of “Against All Odds.” Miles all but knew she was going to be leaving after her horrific performance. She was unanimously verbally assaulted by the judges on Tuesday. Barely surviving last night were Katie Stevens and Tim Urban, who landed in the bottom three. It was the second time in two weeks Urban had been there. The remaining 10 contestants will return next week for an R&B soul-themed night of songs mentored by Usher. Miley Cyrus served as mentor this week.

However a few months later Ferrer stopped making payments and reportedly still owes $139,000, not counting interest.

Corey Haim’s Name Found On Drug-Ring Prescription

California officials have revealed that the late Corey Haim’s name has turned up in their investigation of a major drug ring. Though the L.A. coroner’s office has not yet said what killed the 38-year-old actor last week, he had long battled addiction. Authorities found prescription drug bottles in his home – all prescribed by a doctor – but California Attorney General Jerry Brown said Haim’s name was found on a fake prescription for OxyContin uncovered in the ongoing state investigation. Haim’s agent says that he thinks the actor had an adverse reaction to meds, rather than an overdose.

‘Alice’ Still Reigns

Johnny Depp and Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” easily held on to the No. 1 spot at the box office last weekend, taking in a whopping $62 million. “Alice” has climbed to a $208.6 million total domestically, becoming the first $200 million hit released this year. In its second weekend in theaters, “Alice in Wonderland” pulled ahead of the $206.5 million domestic haul of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” to become the top-grossing of Depp and Burton’s seven films together, including “Edward Scissorhands,” “Sweeney Todd” and “Corpse Bride.” “Alice in Wonderland” added $76 million overseas to bring its international total to $221 million and its worldwide gross to $430 million. “Alice” took in nearly as much as the rest of the top 10 movies combined. The movie has topped $2.6 billion worldwide.

Crew Refused To Let Tiger’s Wife Ride In Ambulance

The ambulance crew that took Tiger Woods from the scene of his car crash outside his home to the hospital refused to let Tiger’s wife, Elin Nordegren, ride with her husband because they said the incident was a case of domestic violence. The news broke on Friday after the Orlando Sentinel quoted Florida police records. The new information has once again raised the possibility of domestic violence in the November 27th incident. Woods has repeatedly denied any domestic violence.

‘Celebrity Apprentice’ Premieres

Last night was the Season Three premiere of “Celebrity Apprentice.” Donald Trump, of course, has already fired somebody. As usual, the teams were divided into men vs. women to kick off the show. Last night’s task was to run a diner for three hours. The winner was determined by which team raised the most money. To keep it interesting, Trump had each team choose the other team’s project manager. The men chose Cyndi Lauper for the women, and Brett Michaels was the women’s choice. But who got fired? Unfortunately for her, comedian Carol Leifer went home because she was on the losing team (the women) and wasn’t much of a team player. The Donald promised that the next task would not be based on who could bring the most money from their deep-pocketed celebrity friends and he was telling the truth. Next week’s episode asks the Rocksolid and Tenacity teams to build a storefront to re-launch Kodak’s famous Kodak Moments campaign.

Michael Jackson’s Children Interviewed By Child Protection

Michael Jackson’s children were interviewed by the Department of Children and Family Services yesterday, according to RadarOnline.com. The interviews occur in the wake of a stun-gun incident that prompted the state agency’s investigation. Jermaine Jackson’s son, Jaafar, 13, bought a stun gun online and reportedly tried to use it on Michael’s son, Blanket. The family denies that. Jermaine Jackson’s children, Jaafar and Jermajesty, 9, live at their grandmother’s Encino house with their cousins, Michael’s three children. As many as 14 people live in Katherine Jackson’s house at any given time.

Debbie Rowe Wins Defamation Suit

Michael Jackson’s ex-wife, Debbie Rowe, has won a defamation lawsuit she filed against a woman who allegedly spread lies about her in the press. Rowe sued Rebecca White back in July when White went on “Extra” after Jackson’s death and claimed Debbie didn’t care about getting custody of Michael’s kids and was only interested in getting money from the Jackson family. Rebecca never responded to Debbie’s lawsuit so the judge entered a default judgment yesterday. Debbie was awarded $27,000, including $10,000 in damages for emotional distress.

Army Sgt. Says He Was ‘Locker’ Inspiration

A U.S. Army Master Sergeant is suing the makers of “The Hurt Locker” for allegedly basing the film’s main character and plot points on his experiences. The Iraq war movie has been winning awards all season and is up for several Oscars this Sunday. A law firm claims Sarver “is, in fact, the film’s main character, ‘Will James,’ or ‘Blaster One,’ which was Master Sgt. Sarver’s ‘call signal’ during his tours of duty in Iraq.” The suit said screenwriter Mark Boal was allowed, as part of an armed services press program, to be embedded in Sarver’s unit. The suit also claims the movie’s screenwriter and makers intentionally cheated Sarver out of financial participation in the film and any acknowledgment of his heroic actions in Iraq.

Baron Cohen Ousted From Oscars Again

Sasha Baron Cohen had been the first choice of Oscar producers to host the ABC-televised ceremony but was dropped following objections by the motion picture academy. Now he has been dropped as an Oscar presenter. Baron Cohen had been set to appear with Ben Stiller onstage dressed as a blue-skinned, female Na’vi from “Avatar.” Stiller was to have been “her” translator. The script called for her to grow increasingly upset, finally ripping open her costume to reveal a pregnant belly and accuse “Avatar” director James Cameron of knocking her up during the filming. The bit was nixed at the last moment by co-producer Bill Mechanic, who feared it would offend Cameron.

Betty White NOT Dead

Betty White is alive and well – though one hoaxer better lie low for a while! For a few minutes Tuesday night / early Wednesday morning, a death hoax was making the rounds on Twitter. The hoax didn’t start on Twitter, however; it was sparked by a post on the popular gossip blog “Oh No They Didn’t” that pretended to be a screen grab of a TMZ article. The article was clearly fake, mentioning possibilities of foul play and drug abuse. The offending post was eventually deleted, but the damage was done and White’s fans are calling for blood.
