Samantha Harris Quits 'Dancing'

“Dancing with the Stars” co-host Samantha Harris will not be returning to the dance competition’s 10th season, ABC said yesterday. The latest edition of the series premieres March 22nd. Tom Bergeron will return as the show’s co-host, but a replacement for Harris has not been announced yet. No reason was given for her departure.

Parents TV Council Honors Tim Conway

The Parents Television Council has presented actor and comedian Tim Conway with its PTC Integrity in Entertainment Award. The organization said the prize recognizes “individuals and corporations who have demonstrated a longstanding commitment to creating, distributing and sponsoring quality entertainment that is free from graphic and gratuitous sex, violence and profanity.” Conway is also a PTC advisory board member. The 76-year-old is best known for his work on “The Steve Allen Show,” “McHale’s Navy” and “The Carol Burnett Show.” Conway also starred in a series of his own TV shows and has won five Emmy Awards.

Jessica Simpson's 'Windy' Business Meeting

A source tells Us Weekly that Jessica Simpson had an embarrassing moment during a business meeting for her denim line in late January. “While one of the executives was speaking in a room full of five people, Jessica let out a very loud fart,” says the insider. “Her mother [Tina Simpson] was there, and it prompted her to turn around and yell, ‘Jessica!’ The tension was extreme. No one knew what to say.”

Chris Jericho Arrested

Pro wrestler Chris Jericho was arrested in Kentucky on Wednesday after he was found to be “extremely intoxicated.” Jericho, who also fronts the heavy metal band Fozzy, and fellow wrestler Greg Helms were arrested at a gas station in Crescent Springs, Kentucky. Someone had called police to report two men had been fighting in a cab. The wrestlers were released on $120 bond each.

Jay And Conan Mum

Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien have not talked since Conan did his last NBC show last Friday. Leno told Oprah Winfrey yesterday that “it didn’t seem appropriate” to speak to O’Brien while everything was in upheaval at NBC. But Jay says he and Conan might talk when “things cool down.” He said the whole thing “was a huge mess.” Leno doesn’t think what happened to O’Brien was “fair” – but added he’s not to blame. He said Conan’s ratings are the real reason he’s gone, citing a 49% drop as proof. Leno added that he’s glad to have his “dream job” back – but regrets “it wasn’t handled better.” Leno is scheduled to return to the “Tonight” show on March 1st. O’Brien also has a standing offer to be on “Oprah” but his appearance hasn’t been confirmed.

Lindsay Lohan's Father Arrested Again

Lindsay Lohan’s father has been arrested again. Michael Lohan was arrested in Long Island yesterday morning and charged with criminal contempt. Police did not provide any details. An attorney for Lohan’s ex-girlfriend, Erin Muller, told the New York Post that Michael phoned Muller at work on January 21st, disobeying an order of protection. Michael Lohan was busted in December on a similar charge. Last June, a judge said Lindsay’s dad would avoid prosecution on an aggravated harassment charge if he stayed out of trouble for one year. He denied he threatened to kill Muller and himself if she left him.

'Heroes' Star Popped For DUI

Heroes” star Adrian Pasdar – the husband of Dixie Chicks singer Natalie Maines – was arrested yesterday on suspicion of drunk driving. Pasdar was pulled over before dawn after officers said they spotted his truck speeding on a Los Angeles freeway at 94 mph and swerving between lanes. Pasdar was released early yesterday morning on $15,000 bail. He reportedly refused to take a breathalyzer test.

'Poltergeist' Star Zelda Rubinstein Dies

Actress Zelda Rubinstein, who played spirit talker Tangina in Steven Spielberg’s cult 1982 film “Poltergeist,” died yesterday. She was 76. Her agent, Eric Stevens, confirmed she passed away of natural causes at

Brittany Murphy's Husband To Sue Warner Bros.

Brittany Murphy’s husband, Simon Monjack, says Warner Bros. is responsible for the death of his wife, and he plans to file a wrongful death lawsuit against the company. Monjack said Murphy was devastated after reportedly losing a role in the sequel to “Happy Feet.” He believes losing the role caused Murphy to have a heart attack. The L.A. County Coroner has not released the cause of death. Before the “Happy Feet” setback, Murphy had been fired from “The Caller.” There were numerous reports about her erratic behavior on the set.

Brooke Mueller Enters 'Wellness Program'

Charlie Sheen’s wife Brooke Mueller has checked into a North Carolina “wellness program” following her release from the hospital’s intensive care unit. Her lawyer, Yale Galanter, said she’s in a “facility where she can rest, rest, rest” and get “competent medical care for her mind and body.” He declines to give the name, but says despite her history of drug abuse, she’s not being treated for addiction. Mueller and Sheen are scheduled to appear in an Aspen, Colorado, court on February 8th for a hearing on whether to modify a protective order. The couple got into a Christmas Day fight in Aspen, resulting in domestic violence charges and a protection order against the actor. Mueller subsequently was hospitalized for a severe wisdom tooth infection that led to pneumonia. She was released Monday.

Will Ferrell Welcomes Son Axel

Will Ferrell and his wife Viveca Paulin welcomed their third son, Axel, on January 23rd. A very pregnant Viveca rocked to “Free Bird” with Will on Conan O’Brien’s final show, just hours before heading to the delivery room.

'Ugly Betty' Canned

ABC has canceled “Ugly Betty.” The comedy debuted in 2006 and turned Emmy Award-winning actress America Ferrera into a household name. The show’s current fourth season will be its last, ABC said. Veteran entertainer Liza Minnelli is set to appear in the final series in a cameo as an “outrageous drama teacher.”

Jennifer Lopez To Guest On 'How I Met Your Mother'

Jennifer Lopez will play a self-help expert on an episode of the CBS comedy “How I Met Your Mother” in March. The actress/singer will play Anita Appleby, a no-nonsense author who tries to “train” men into better behavior in relationships. Her target is a playboy-bachelor character, Barney, played by Neil Patrick Harris. The exact date the episode will air hasn’t been set.

Cameron Douglas Pleads Guilty In Meth Case

Cameron Douglas, the 31-year-old son of actor Michael Douglas, pleaded guilty yesterday to dealing in large quantities of methamphetamine and cocaine while holed up in a Manhattan hotel where he was arrested last year. Cameron told a judge that a New York contact first asked him if he could score the drugs in 2006. After that he said he “began supplying on a regular basis.” Prosecutors said Douglas signed a plea agreement, but details weren’t disclosed. Douglas also pleaded guilty to heroin possession – a charge stemming from allegations that his girlfriend tried to smuggle him the drug in an electric toothbrush while he was under house arrest. Douglas was arrested on July 28, 2009, at the Hotel Gansevoort as part of a DEA investigation.
